Tips for a Plastic-Free Bathroom

Tips for a Plastic-Free Bathroom

People can live without plastic. Yes, that’s right. A life without it results in a healthier, longer, and happier one. Aside from that, it is a great step to a better world. It may be a bit overwhelming if changing the “world” is the focus so we encourage everyone to take small steps by improving their homes now.

One part of everyone’s home that has a bit of a challenge when it comes to plastic consumption is the bathroom. Check out these tips on how to change the bathroom to a plastic-free one:

Change dental care products

A good start to minimizing plastic consumption is changing the standard toothbrush to a bamboo toothbrush. It is safe to use because it is made from the plant bamboo.

Make the hair care product switch

A better way to do things is to use 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner bars. They have natural ingredients that target specific problems and that won’t cost you much. Most importantly, they do not utilize single-use plastics.

Do sustainable cleaning

The most sustainable way of cleaning bathrooms is using natural products like vinegar, baking soda, and old brushes. It is best to think of other ways to reuse old materials. Bottles of cleaning products can be recycled for other purposes in the future.

The main goal here is to always look for ways that will have a good impact on the environment in the long run. It is best to start improving homes now! Anybody can also make other areas of their homes plastic-free as long as they have the determination to really help the environment.

There are other exciting activities to #breakfreefromplastic. Look forward to them and always be open to improve the only planet we live in. If everyone will change their mindset from “I” to “We”, the world will surely be a better place.
