#GreenLiving: Shifting to a Happier Life

#GreenLiving: Shifting to a Happier Life

It is moving that many people have volunteered to clean Manila Bay and companies (whether giants or SMEs) to be more and more responsible with their waste through packaging and other end products.

While it is ideal to live using more sustainable material, shifting would not be that easy, BUT always worth it. So, if you are one of those whose New Year's resolution is to practice #GreenLiving, here are some tips we can give you:

1. TURN IT OFF

Conserving energy is one of the best ways to show concern to the environment. Switch off lights and other appliances when not in use. This way, you can help in reducing the carbon footprint that Earth accumulates.

2. DON'T WASTE FOOD

Do you know that there are 1.3 billion tons of food that get wasted globally? One in every seven people go hungry and over 20,000 children below five years old die from hunger every day.

These facts are horrifying! While we may be blessed to eat whatever we want, wasting food doesn't support helping the environment. Wasting food means wasting resources.

3. RECYCLE... EVERYTHING!

If the item or the material can be recycled and re-used, go for it! There are many options today that we can do not to make any of this trash go to landfills and the oceans. If there is no hope for the item and it is deemed unreusable, it is essential to dispose of it properly especially if it is known to be hazardous.

4. SHIFT TO ALL-NATURAL PRODUCTS

All-natural products are deemed not only safe for use but also environment-friendly. Utilizing plant-based items and raw ingredients are way better than using chemicals. The more we patronize all-natural products, the less the demand there would be for chemicals and its production. This way, we could solve one problem that our environment is facing.

Happy Shift Products ensure that it is not only safe but also sustainable in terms of its ingredients. All raw materials are sourced locally in the Philippines.

5. GROW A PLANT

Planting and growing your own plant could be challenging especially if you are living in the city. If you don't have too much idea how to plant seeds and grow a plant, you may opt to purchase Plant Kits from any hardware OR watch out our release SOON!
